History of Dreamcatchers Dreamcatchers are a traditional aboriginal craft found predominantly in Lakota, Ojibwa, Navaho and Cree culture. The weaving catches the bad dreams and nightmares entangling them within the web. The good dreams to flow through the web and slide down to the feathers to the dreamer. In the Morning, the bad dreams and nightmares entangled in the web evaporate in the sunlight, just as drops of dew on a spider’s web. The feathers take the hopes and dreams on the wings of the bird’s spirits to creator. ---- Details: We will begin with a traditional smudge and welcome to bless our Dreamcatchers.
